We continue our outreach with the Interfaith Refugee Ministry (IRM), providing back-to-school supplies, including book bags. To date, there are 29 students.
The “Apple Tree” will be outside of porch during worship services. To participate, select one of the “apple tags” that list needed book bags and supplies. Additional donations (notebooks, paper, crayons, etc.) are welcomed if you do not feel comfortable following the listed requests. If you prefer, you can contact Rebecca Liberty at 252.670.7601 directly to choose an apple tag.
After selecting a tag, please sign the form by the correct number to let us know which child and items you have selected. Please return items on or before August 16th. (August 23 is the last Sunday before school starts.)
It is especially important that students have these materials since the first nine weeks of instruction will be virtually, at home.
Many thanks in helping these children in beginning a new school experience. Questions? Call Rebecca.
