Thank you for considering The Harrison Center as a space for your upcoming event or activity. We are committed to ensuring that your experience with our space is both meaningful and respectful.

The Harrison Center is a 4,000 sq ft space with a full commercial kitchen. The building is located at 311 Middle Street in downtown historic New Bern and can accommodate up to 185 people. We have 14 rectangle and 21 round tables with chairs.

 

The maximum daily rental is 8 hours unless approval is given otherwise. All groups are responsible for cleaning the Harrison Center within their allotted time - if not, you will be invoiced a cleaning fee of $200 regardless of group type.
 

We are not a venue, nor do we have staff to accommodate your event/meeting as many commercial venues offer. We do believe in collaborating with you to ensure your event/activity is successful. It is important to know that our rental priorities are in this order: Church-related activities and meetings; Church member-sponsored activities and meetings; Outreach/Ministry Group in the community, Commercial/Personal use.
 

Tours of the Harrison Center are available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons by appointment only. To request an appointment, email Jimi Paderick, Director of Church Life.

​Other meeting spaces (Pelletier Room, Library, Parish House)

Located at 320 Pollock Street, we have several meeting spaces available for groups who need a regular weekly or monthly space to hold meetings or gatherings. The monthly fee is $50. All groups are required to complete the Building Usage Agreement
